Lindy Kummings, a Chicago native and Babson Business School graduate, founded Gloveables & Bello Cappello, driven by her passion for fashion and her entrepreneurial spirit, which she inherited from her father, Harry Katz, a successful Chicago businessman. After moving to Los Angeles in 1973, Lindy faced and overcame cancer twice, emerging with a renewed commitment to create beauty and share it with the world through her work.

Inspired by her love for timeless design, Lindy established Bello Cappello to craft sophisticated, limited-edition hats that embody elegance and refinement. Partnering with Gladys Tamez in L.A., Bello Cappello offers meticulously handcrafted felt and straw hats, made from premium materials sourced from Italy and Ecuador. Each piece is designed to blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary style, ensuring that every hat is a statement of individuality.
